Museum & Planetarium a place where "imagination gets in
gear"!

galaxies? Join us to discover and explore the wonders of the stars,
planets, and galaxies beyond. All planetarium shows are live and
interactive. Call for show schedule. The universe is waiting!
Summer
Camps
Our Summer Science Adventures Camps offer children the chance to
develop hands-on learning, creative problem solving and discovery
in a stimulating and fun environment. Our
commitment is to provide:
• Smaller camp class experience (maximum enrollment 14)
• Professional, committed staff who are here to engage, excite
and inspire children toward a lifelong love of learning
• A nurturing, inquisitive environment where all questions
are good questions

learning toys, science-based toys, puzzles, small souvenirs and
a soda/juice/water machine. All proceeds from the store support
museum activities.

The Science Factory is located next to Autzen Stadium, within the
city's largest developed parkland, Alton Baker Park. The museum

Science
Factory To Go
Leave the driving to us! We can visit your school with the programs
for assemblies or individual classes.
Our
popular Whizbang Workshops explore a wide sampling of exciting subjects
from Kitchen Chemistry to Boats & Floats. We can provide continuing
programs for your after-school program or appear in a regularly
scheduled class on a one-time only basis. We can also work with
youth clubs to provide programming for badges or other awards. Each
workshop will include all materials, instruction and age-appropriate
activities on a host of topics, in addition to set-up and clean-up.
Among our favorites: catapults, Ph testing, and more!
Science
Olympics: sports for the mind! Five station-to-station activities
are better than a decathlon! Investigation of topics such as circuits
& currents, structures, inventions, or roller coasters makes
our event a winner.
